History

CVO was originally part of the Civil Defence Corp. this service was disbanded by the government in 1968.

After several radical changes and retraining it emerged as Civil Volunteers Organisation in 1986 and is still operating to the present day.

The type of event we have undertaken or have undertaken recently:

Junior Football Competitions (up to 18yrs)

Robbie Williams concert, Lancashire County Cricket Club (3 days).

The Yorkshire Cup International Junior Football Competition (4 days).

Large Carnivals and Galas.

Downhill and cross country mountain bike competitions.

Manchester to Blackpool bike race 2001.

Various horse shows / competitions in Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Motocross competitions around the North of England.

Provide support services to Outdoor carting competitions.

Cross country races / Fell runs.

Bike road races.
